Closings after office hours are available by appointment only.

We offer free on-site parking. Our parking lot is located on the West side of our building, and our spaces are labeled AmeriTitle. There are also pay parking lots across the street and to the north of our office. There is metered parking on the street.

No, we do NOT process car titles.

No, we do NOT accept credit cards.

We will take a personal check for amounts under $1,000.

No, we do NOT accept ACH transfers.

Please make all checks payable to AmeriTitle Downtown.

Most purchase closings take approximately an hour.
Most refinance closings take 30-45 minutes.

This depends on the terms set in the purchase contract.

If your bank requires certain insurance coverages that can only be provided if a current survey is completed, then yes, you will need to purchase a survey.

What do I need to bring to closing?

Buyer - Purchase

  1. Funds for closing: We will take a personal check for amounts under $1,000. Amounts between $1,000 and $10,000 can be a Cashier’s check made out to AmeriTitle Downtown or a wire. All amount over $10,000 MUST be wired to our account.
  2. Homeowner’s Insurance
  3. Photo ID for all Buyers
  4. Spouse, if applicable

Buyer - Refinance

  1. Funds for closing: We will take a personal check for amounts under $1,000. Amounts between $1,000 and $10,000 can be a Cashier’s check made out to AmeriTitle Downtown or a wire. All amount over $10,000 MUST be wired to our account.
  2. Names, phone number, and account numbers for any mortgages, second mortgage, lines of credit or home equity loans being paid off at closing.
  3. Homeowner’s Insurance
  4. Photo ID for all Buyers
  5. Spouse, if applicable

Seller

  1. Photo ID for all sellers.
  2. Spouse, if applicable
  3. Names, phone number, and account numbers for any mortgages, second mortgage, lines of credit or home equity loans being paid off at closing.
  4. Receipts for any recent taxes paid.
  5. Funds for closing: We will take a personal check for amounts under $1,000. Amounts between $1,000 and $10,000 can be a Cashier’s check made out to AmeriTitle Downtown or a wire. All amount over $10,000 MUST be wired to our account.

A check can be cut to you at the completion of the closing. Funds can also be wired to your bank account. Please note that AmeriTitle does not charge for this service, but sometimes the receiving bank will charge to receive a wire.
